Overview of Experience

I am based in the UK.  I am an Indian qualified senior level corporate lawyer with over 12 years of experience (worked in India and in the UK), and I am currently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), which I hope to complete this summer.

I have operated in different industries before shifting completely to the life science sector. Previous associations with:

  • Reddy’s Laboratories Group
  • Jubilant Life Sciences Group

I am experienced in working closely with the leadership team and possess a strong understanding of business requirements, and capable of supporting the same from a legal standpoint.

Since August 2022, I have worked as a consultant for Life Science Law, supporting one of their multi-national pharmaceutical company clients with a Joint Venture, which has included the novation of supply chain contracts and other associated negotiations and matters.

Track Record

  • Whilst in India, I drafted and implemented a new policy for the organization as required by law (India – Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013), This included training the entire workforce on the subject matter.
  • Setting up a new legal entity within the group of companies (through corporate restructuring) and managing transition of the entire business to new entity.
  • Managed a team of people belonging to different functions (local and remote); trained resources with a non-legal background on contract vetting.
